These research grants and fellowships are designed to assist students performing dissertation research. They vary widely in eligibility conditions, application requirements and types of research sponsored. Applicants are strongly encouraged to carefully read the criteria details and to work closely with their scientific advisors from UHErg throughout the proposal writing phase of their application from the beginning.

Thesis and Dissertation Grants are available for advanced doctoral and master students and are intended to support the student while analyzing data and writing the thesis/dissertation or carrying their experimental/field studies.

Proposals are encouraged to apply for from the wide range of graduate research disciplines which are engaged in human ecology, urban environment and sustainable development, green economics, social welfare, public policy of human wellbeing, urban development dynamics and natural resources conservation and rescue.

Applicants for this non-renewable award should be advanced doctoral or master students after proposal approval stage, usually the second year of study. Applicants enrolled in a graduate program.
